Through divine intervention, The God of Jesus Christ was given by God to Bishop DeVaughn to bring proper understanding to the Jews and Christians alike of the true identity of Jesus Christ of Nazareth according to the scriptures. This Godsent book serves the purpose on bringing recognition unto the people of God that the church and it’s gentile dispensation is coming toward its end, for the fulfillment of that which was spoken of is now fully at hand, “that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in” (Rom. 11:25).
No one can escape God’s truth, whether we be Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, intelligent or ignorant. The God of Jesus Christ gives an additional light to the messianic, a helping crossover for the orthodox, and a better understanding to the Christian believer. And he saith unto me, seal not the sayings of the prophecy of the book: For the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
About the Author
Vaughn Emmons DeVaughn Sr., was born September 28, 1964, in Passaic, New Jersey, the second oldest out of my father’s seven children. After living in various locations at the age of fifteen, my father moved us (his seven children) to Baltimore, Maryland, after a final separation from my mother. (She was a good mother; marriage just did not hold out). Here in Baltimore, I finished high school in 1972 at Frederick Douglas Senior High School, and then after graduation, I entered into the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1974. I started my collegian studies at Morgan State University from 1975 – 1977. At this time, the search for God and his truth became more interesting to me more than my studies, my social life, my family, and my friend. After going to one church denominations to another (Baptist, Methodist, Charismatic, not giving discrimination), God kep the promise of his Word, he said, “Seek and you shall find.”
After hearing the “you must be born-again message,” my search was over. I first married my teenage companion Jeanette Jackson in February 1979 and then was born of the water and of the spirit (baptized in Jesus’s name and filled with the Holy Ghost) May 1, 1979, at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church. In our marriage, we had fourteen children. In 1995, my wife (Jeanette) died from cancer, and prior to her death, I also lost my oldest son, Corte to sickness in 1992. I was blessed to remarry to my present wife, Yvonne, in 1996 in which three more step-children were added. In 1984, I was called to the ministry, and in 1999, the Lord called me to start and to pastor the Holy Ground Apostolic Faith Church here in Baltimore, Maryland. Resuming my studies, I received my bachelor’s and master’s degree in theology in 2009 from the International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth. I am now the author of two books, The DeVaughn Code, “For the Truth Sake” and now The God of Jesus Christ.
