Within these covers of this book there is a mixture of poetry – a kaleidoscope of moods, styles, interests, musings and vibes. I have also included some pastoral notes, taken from a church newsletter, written by my husband, Rev, S. H. Vernon during his tenure as pastor. They add a little variety, and I also added some fillers to fit empty places.
The Dirty Sheet: A Story of Transformation–“I don’t care what they think” was my favorite line to say. Rebellious, prideful, and determined to control every situation and event in my life, I left my father’s house at the age of seventeen to attend college–brokenhearted, angry, and full of rage.
